BIA Board Election Process

Downtown Timmins BIA Board of Management for the 2027-2030 Term

As with every municipal election, BIAs are required to nominate a new Board of Management for Council’s approval.

Those nominated and appointed to the BIA Board with serve a four (4) year term. 

The nomination period will open on ******* and close on *****.

If there are fewer nominations than positions, the BIA Board will adopt the nominees as the new board. 

If there are more nominations than position, the BIA will hold an election by online voting, tabulated by BIA staff.
